Alenka Sottler about her work: A beautiful small fine art print on recycle paper, philosophical meditation, an enviromental wake up call! For centuries, artists produced ‘memento mori’, works of art that would remind their viewers of death and usually featured a skull or an hourglass. The point of these works was to focus on the real priorities. They are reminders of mortality and the transient nature of life. When measured against the finality of death, we understand what really is important for us.
